God's Timing

Sometimes the process of growing seems slow.

We look at how far we have to go, rather than how far we've come.

We're so focused on the unknowns of the future that we forget to enjoy the present.

Every day is a gift

God wants us to enjoy each and every day by taking it one step at a time.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

He has made everything beautiful in its time...

Everything is made beautiful in its proper time, including our growth and spiritual maturity.

It might appear that we are going too slow, but the Lord is faithful to get us where we need to be in His timing.

We may plan our lives, but the Lord establishes our steps and makes them secure. His plans prevail, and they are the best of the best.

Proverbs 16:9

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

The plans and purposes of His heart towards us are faithful and good.

We don't have to worry about the future or how we're going to get where we need to be because the Lord is our guide.

He enables us to live the life we were meant to live.

One day, one step and one moment at a time.
