Born fourteen weeks premature and legally blind, Marisa’s journey shapes the perspectives she shares on resilience, identity, and living with intention beyond limitation. She has spoken at schools, churches, community events, nonprofit gatherings, and student groups, reaching audiences across faith-based and general settings.
Her talks combine practical insight, encouragement, and personal story in a way that connects with any audience. Marisa is also a published writer, contributing to platforms such as LiveOriginal.com and TheRebelution.com, and she continues creating content through blogging, podcasting, and music.
She holds a Master of Arts in Mass Communication (concentration in Public Relations) from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Communication from Southeastern University.
