Victory in Christ - Poem

We are each a living testimony of Jesus Christ, and we have the opportunity to bring hope to others through sharing what He has helped us overcome. We each go through many trials of various kinds, but because of Jesus’ resurrection, we always have the victory through our faith in what He has done for us.

I hope this poem reminds you that you always have the victory through Christ.

Come and see
The victory
He won for us at Calvary
Stand in awe

Be amazed
Behold the Lamb
Worthy of endless praise
Remember

Trials are just the recipe
For fulfilling our destiny
Every situation we face
Is a chance to experience God’s grace

We caught the interception at His resurrection
That’s a touchdown
Death’s arrested
Taking the harvest into the endzone

Finally seeing fruit from the seeds sown
Instead of embarrassment
We’ll rejoice in our inheritance
Cause God qualified us to share in it

That’s why I’m declaring it
He is coming with flames of fire
Make Him our one desire
The Refiner

Take a backseat, He’s the driver
We’re living for the cross
No matter the cost
Our heart is our alabaster box

We know that
Rain or shine
His heart is kind
If He called us to it

He’ll get us through it
We can do it!
He satisfies our soul
Fills that hole

Makes us whole
From sunrise to sunset
We’ll praise the Lord
He’s our mindset

We’re a living letter
It’s a dark world
But we’re here to make it better
Now let others see
