The Boundless Riches of Christ

By Marisa D'Amore · · Updated

Scripture

Ephesians 3:8 (NIV)

Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ.

What Are the Boundless Riches of Christ?

The boundless riches of Christ are the immeasurable grace, mercy and spiritual inheritance God freely gives you in Jesus, treasures so deep no one could ever reach their end.

Reflection

In this verse, the apostle Paul humbly acknowledges his own inadequacy compared to the grandeur of God’s grace. Despite considering himself the least among the believers, he recognizes the profound privilege bestowed upon him, God’s calling to proclaim the unfathomable riches found in Christ. Paul’s humility serves as a reminder that God’s grace is not contingent upon our worthiness or merit but is freely given to all who believe. It is a grace that transcends human comprehension and extends boundlessly to encompass every aspect of our lives.

Prayer

Dear Lord, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the immeasurable grace You have lavished upon us. Like Paul, we humbly acknowledge our own unworthiness in the presence of Your boundless love and mercy. Grant us the wisdom to comprehend the depth of Your riches and the courage to share this glorious truth with others. May Your grace continue to transform our lives and empower us to live faithfully according to Your will.

Action Steps

  1. Ponder God’s Grace: Reflect on the magnitude of God’s grace in your life, considering moments where His love has been evident. How has He saved you, healed you, redeemed you?

  2. Search His Riches: Engage in prayer and study of the Scriptures,, seeking a deeper understanding of the riches found in Christ. Study not only what He does or gives, but who He is.

  3. Share His Riches: Look for opportunities to share the message of God’s grace with others through both words and actions.
