We often seek wisdom and understanding from various sources, from self-help books to online experts.

Imagine a treasure chest overflowing with priceless gems and precious jewels. This image captures the essence of Colossians 2:3. The apostle Paul, the author of Colossians, wants us to understand that in Jesus Christ, we have access to a treasure trove of wisdom and knowledge. It's a knowledge that surpasses the wisdom of this world, for it originates from the very heart of God.

This wisdom and knowledge include understanding God's character, His redemptive plan for humanity and the path to living a life that honors Him. In Christ, we discover the answers to life's most profound questions and find redemption for our eternity through Him only.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the immeasurable wisdom and knowledge found in Your Son, Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that true understanding comes from You alone. We ask for Your guidance in our pursuit of wisdom and knowledge. Help us to seek You first in all things, trusting that Your wisdom is greater than the world's. May we grow in our knowledge of You and Your ways each day. In Jesus's name, we pray. Amen.
