From Debilitating Illness to Miraculous Healing

Tara Nicole Scott's Childhood Challenges

Tara grew up in a wonderful Christian home, surrounded by the love of her God-honoring parents. From a young age, she had a personal relationship with God and loved to worship Him. But as a child, Tara began facing serious health challenges that lasted nearly a decade. Can you imagine dealing with debilitating seizures, pancreas failure, heart problems and even losing your voice for a whole year? It's hard to imagine, but that and much more is what Tara courageously endured.

Unwavering Faith: Persistent Prayers for Healing

Through it all, Tara and her family never lost faith. Although they had not really ever experienced a miracle, they knew God was a miracle worker from the stories in the Bible, so they persistently prayed for Tara's healing. She would see a breakthrough for about a month, until suddenly another health crisis would come upon her again. But she and her family kept trusting God through the ups and downs.

Reliance on God in a Foreign Land

At 18, cleared by doctors, Tara excitedly went on a mission trip to Poland, ready to share God's love. But suddenly, she had a major setback - a stroke-like episode that left her partially paralyzed, unable to see or speak properly. Far from home in a Polish hospital, Tara could only rely on God. She was eventually transported to Germany, where no one spoke her language, making the situation even more overwhelming.

Worship Through the Storms

Tara's Lifelong Love for Worship

Tara found comfort in worship, singing to the Lord in her heart when she couldn't physically do so.

Tara's Revelation About God's Glory

In her lowest moment, Tara related to Job's suffering in the Bible. She asked God, "Why?" And He tenderly reminded her that everything happens for His glory. Just like Job, Tara realized it wasn't about her, but about keeping her heart full of worship and adoration for God no matter what.

The Comfort of a Father

When Tara's dad finally reached her bedside in Germany, she experienced a beautiful revelation. The moment he walked in, all her burdens melted away. It painted a perfect picture of what happens when we allow our Heavenly Father into our lives - He lifts the stress and carries it for us. What a comforting truth!

The Fulfillment of God's Promises

Tara's Instantaneous Healing

Tara eventually returned to the United States, still seeking answers for her health. But God had a miracle in store. At a simple lunch with her dad and an elderly man from church, Tara received prayer in tongues and amazingly, she understood every word in English. The man declared she would be healed and share her story for God's glory worldwide! Shortly after, Tara was instantaneously healed, and she's been healthy ever since. Glory to God!

Tara's Global Testimony

The word about Tara sharing her testimony globally would soon come to pass. Fast forward a few years, and there she was, sharing her testimony and singing with Jesus Co. (formerly WorshipMob), leading millions in praise! She experienced the fulfillment of God’s promises.

Tara’s Songwriting

But Tara's journey with worship started long before her healing. As a child, she woke up from dreams with original, heavenly songs in her heart, eager to worship God. Even through years of sickness, music remained a constant comfort. After her healing, Tara took a leap of faith and joined her church's worship team. It stretched her beyond her comfort zone, but she learned that true worship is about obedience to God, not just a song.

Tara's songwriting is marked by beautiful intimacy with God. She shares vulnerability, like in her song "Nothing on You," which came from a spontaneous moment where she simply sang, "I just really love you." And her song "Satisfy" was born from a place of unwavering devotion, even when others discouraged her gift.

A Powerful Message for Today

Tara's Upcoming Project

Today, Tara continues to write songs that draw people deeper into God's presence. Her upcoming project is inspired by praying for peace amidst war, showcasing God's heart for people worldwide. Isn't that a powerful message we all need to hear?

Let Tara's story ignite your faith today! Remember, we serve a God of miracles who fights for what is good and longs to lift our burdens. Whether you're facing your own battles or feeling called to step out in worship, know that God is right there with you, ready to fill your heart with joy and purpose.
