I Started a Podcast!
“The Presence & Poetry Podcast” offers poetry intended to encourage and empower people in their faith. Our mission is to share Scriptural messages wrapped in rhythms and rhymes in hopes to lead people into the presence of God, that they may be drawn closer to His heart as well as stirred to share the gospel with others.
This podcast is centered on the presence of God. I pray that each poem that is shared will lead people into His refreshing, yet invigorating presence. The poems will cover a wide variety of topics. Some are more evangelistic in nature, for those that do not yet know Christ, while others will provide encouragement for believers. Many of these poems were written in a very difficult season of my life. They helped me process my emotions and the messages were ones I needed to hear. I pray these poems lead people toward the heart of God as well as empower them to build His kingdom by loving others.
The first episode launched today. It is a poem called More.
This happens to be the first poem I ever wrote, so it is a dear treasure to me. Its core message is that we were made for more. Christ’s sacrifice compels us to sell out for Him, and as we give over our lives to Him, we will begin to experience the “more” that we were made for. When we align ourselves with His plans and purposes for us, we will discover what it means to truly live the abundant life He died to give us.
