Exceedingly and Abundantly More

Ephesians 3:20 (NIV)

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Reflection

In Ephesians 3:20, we are reminded of the limitless power and boundless love of our Heavenly Father. This verse encourages us to have unwavering faith in God's ability to do far beyond what we can think or even dare to ask for. It speaks to the grandeur of God's plans and His desire to work through us to accomplish great things.

Take a moment to reflect on the times when you may have limited God's power in your life. Have there been moments when you doubted His ability to fulfill His promises? Have you found yourself placing restrictions on what you believe God can do in and through you?

God's power knows no boundaries. He is not constrained by our doubts, fears, or limited perspective. He longs for us to fully trust in Him and surrender to His plans, allowing His limitless power to work within us.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your immeasurable power and boundless love. Help me to break free from any limitations I have placed on Your ability to work in my life. Strengthen my faith, Lord, so that I may fully embrace Your unlimited power and believe in Your ability to do exceedingly abundantly more than I can imagine. Teach me to trust in Your plans and surrender to Your will. May Your power be evident in every aspect of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action Steps

  1. Surrender any areas of your life where you have been trying to control the outcome.

  2. Release your plans and expectations to God, trusting that His power is greater than your own.

  3. Ask God to reveal His purposes and align your heart with His will. Dare to imagine the extraordinary and believe that God can surpass your expectations.

  4. Allow God's power to work through you by stepping out in faith. Be open to opportunities where you can serve others, share His love, and make a difference.

  5. Trust that His power is working within you to accomplish His purposes.
